About Us

Based out of Austin, TX, 121Giving was founded by Mark Courtney and successfully launched the first rev of 121Giving at SXSW Festival in 2015 (with then co-founder, Liz Deering). Now we've expanded and growing into a distributed team of engineers, interns, social entrepreneurs, business executives and problem solvers, who are all personally and professionally vested in the stake one 121Giving's success. In today's world, we don't believe in having a fancy office space, and maybe we won't ever depending on what we need as a company, but each of our powerhouse team members get thrills by shaking things up for the benefit of the greater good, and most of us are very passionate about leveraging technology in ways that foster and channel more effective (one-to-one) relationships between nonprofits, brands, and consumers on a community level.

Purpose

121Giving.com exists to "level the buying field" for nonprofits. To do it, we aggregate the buying power of our members to effectively form an entirely new ecosystem and patent pending method, built around the collective good and benefit for everyone.
